The ministry was born in April 1967, at 1135 Dove Street, North Melbourne, Florida. A new building, and a new place of worship with opportunities. The ministry began with Pastor James Johnson, his wife, and Co-Pastor Evelyn Johnson, their four children, and two visitors.

Pastor Johnson's daughter, Diane Phillips continues the vision of seeking souls for the kingdom of God. As the current Pastor of Miracle Temple Church, she leads a bible believing, bible teaching church on the Space Coast in Brevard County, Florida.
